Job Summary
We’re seeking a QA Specialist with deep expertise in Werum PAS-X to ensure the quality and reliability of our systems in the life sciences domain. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, has a strong grasp of data models and bioinformatics, and is passionate about driving excellence in testing practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust test strategies for Werum PAS-X systems, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Lead and manage test execution including functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Translate business requirements into effective test scenarios in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Mentor junior testers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
- Analyze test results and deliver detailed reports with actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in QA methodologies.
- Leverage domain expertise in data models and bioinformatics to enhance validation processes.
- Coordinate with development teams to resolve defects and improve system quality.
- Implement automated testing frameworks to streamline processes and reduce manual effort.
- Continuously monitor and optimize testing workflows for efficiency and innovation.
- Stay current with emerging QA technologies and trends to drive improvements.
- Improve test coverage and reduce time-to-market for new releases.
- Align testing timelines with overall project schedules in coordination with project managers.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience working with Werum PAS-X in a QA or validation environment.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data models.
- Proficiency in bioinformatics and its application in system validation.
- Demonstrated success in leading testing projects in a hybrid work model.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
