About the role
As a Senior Developer, you will make an impact by being responsible for leading complex Drupal projects, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions. We are seeking a seasoned Senior Developer with a proven track record in Drupal development. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Drupal architecture, custom module development, and theme creation. You will be a valued member of the CBU team and work collaboratively with team leads, sales associates and the client. .
In this role, you will:
1. Drupal Architecture and Development – This is the core of the role. Designing and maintaining complex applications is foundational.
2. Custom Module Development – Essential for building tailored, scalable functionality that goes beyond out-of-the-box solutions.
3. Performance Optimization – A performant site isn’t just a bonus—it’s a must. This shows a developer can think beyond code to user experience and infrastructure.
4. Team Leadership – Critical for a senior role. Being able to mentor, guide, and uplift junior talent shows long-term value.
5. Problem-solving - Strong troubleshooting skills can make the difference between a smooth deployment and endless delays.

What you need to have to be considered
· Drupal Architecture – Mastery of the system’s core is essential for designing scalable, maintainable solutions.
· Module Development – Custom module creation is at the heart of tailoring Drupal to complex business needs.
· PHP – Since Drupal is built on PHP, strong command of the language (especially OOP) is foundational.
· Entity API – Deep knowledge here ensures seamless handling of nodes, users, and taxonomy, which drives data architecture.
· Database – Optimizing MySQL/PostgreSQL is key for performance and reliability in production environments.
These will help you stand out:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Contributions to open-source projects.
- Good English Level (B2 or above)
