We are seeking a highly skilled Dimensional Data Modeler with expertise in Dimensional Data Modeling, PL/SQL, and ANSI SQL to join our team. This hybrid role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a strong background in Insurance, who can design and implement data solutions that enhance business processes and drive analytics excellence.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Designing and implementing dimensional data models to support BI and analytics.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Developing and optimizing PL/SQL and ANSI SQL queries for efficient data handling.
- Ensuring data integrity and consistency across systems.
- Providing technical guidance to development teams.
- Conducting data quality assessments and implementing corrective actions.
- Integrating data from multiple sources into a unified data warehouse.
- Partnering with business analysts to address data-related challenges.
- Monitoring and enhance system performance to meet SLAs.
- Staying current with industry trends and best practices in data architecture and insurance.
- Contributing to data governance policies and maintain technical documentation.
- Supporting transitions to new data technologies and platforms.
To be successful in this role, your skills will include:
- Proven expertise in Dimensional Data Modeling, PL/SQL, and ANSI SQL.
- Experience with Data Vault to Dimensional Modeling design.
- Skilled in translating requirements to Bus Matrix and engaging stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Erwin or equivalent data modeling tools (highly desirable).
- Experience with iterative data modeling approaches.
- Understanding of the Insurance domain.
