Work model: HYRBID (2 days from the Cracow office)
A Mapping System Specialist is a domain-specific subject-matter expert in functionality, features, and purpose of tools, applications, and infrastructure. They are expected to improve processes by finding ways to better utilize existing tools or by suggesting better configuration, additional features, or functionality.
Requirements
- Knowledge of programming/scripting Languages Python, JavaScript
- GIS Skills: Support the geo data processing lifecycle from ingestion to submission.
- Experience managing changes to source code.
- Machine Learning and AI: Leverage output data to improve system tooling and workflows.
Core Responsibilities
- Draft Tools Requirements Documents (ORDs).
- Conduct Black-Box Testing: Test new tool features and provide detailed feedback.
- Manage Domain Issue Configurations: Handle configuration files and run batch issue creation/mutation scripts.
- Support Geo Mapping Data Technicians: Create and improve configurations to enhance daily workflows.
- Document and Quantify Impact: Assess suggested features/functionality or infrastructure changes.
- Implement Algorithms: Use programming experience to improve edit outputs.
- Triage and Debug Complex Issues: Resolve and document edge cases impeding workflows.
- Cross Pollinate Tooling Solutions: Share solutions throughout teams and projects.

Jeśli powyższy wymóg nie zostanie spełniony, Cognizant ma prawo wycofać ofertę zatrudnienia i odstąpić od podpisania z Tobą umowy o pracę lub, w przypadku, gdy umowa o pracę została już podpisana przed zakończeniem ww. procedury weryfikacyjnej, Cognizant może rozwiązać z Tobą umowę o pracę. Klient, będący administratorem danych odpowiedzialnym za ten konkretny proces weryfikacyjny, skontaktuje się z Tobą odrębnie, aby przekazać Ci szczegółowe informacje na ten temat.
