About the role
As a Software Engineering Intern, you will make an impact by helping to design and develop fully functional software products for the healthcare industry, aligned with user needs and business goals. You will be a valued member of the TriZetto Product House team and work collaboratively with developers, analysts and global project teams delivering technology solutions.
In this role, you will
Assist in designing and developing fully functional software products for healthcare, aligned with user needs and business goals
Collaborate with developers, analysts and global project teams to deliver technology solutions
Support product development efforts across the TriZetto Product House ecosystem
Contribute to streamlining payer processes and automating insurance operations
Work model
At Cognizant, we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring at least two days a week in a Cognizant office in Teaneck, NJ. What you need to have to be considered
Pursuing a degree with a preferred major in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Data Science
Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java or .NET, Python and SQL
Basic knowledge of cloud services such as Azure or AWS
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to collaborate with global project teams
Available to participate for the full three-week internship from January 4, 2026, to January 22, 2026

Salary and Other Compensation
Applications will be accepted until December 15, 2025.
The hourly rate for this position is $25.00 per hour, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
Work Authorization
Due to the nature of this position, Cognizant cannot provide sponsorship for U.S. work authorization (including participation in a CPT/OPT program) for this role.
