The Engagement Delivery Lead is a senior leadership role responsible for driving end-to-end delivery of complex SAP S/4HANA programmes and hybrid engagements for global clients. This role ensures predictable, high-quality outcomes through strong portfolio governance, optimised delivery processes, and consistent value creation across manufacturing, supply chain, and finance functions. The incumbent will lead cross-functional teams, align business and technology priorities, and support long-term digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
· Drive planning and execution of complex S/4HANA engagements to ensure predictable and high-quality delivery outcomes in a hybrid environment.
· Lead end-to-end delivery governance across portfolios, ensuring alignment to scope, quality, schedule, and cost expectations while maintaining high client satisfaction.
· Coordinate cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to manage priorities, dependencies, and risks, proactively removing delivery impediments.
· Provide structured portfolio-level reporting on risks, issues, decisions, and benefits realisation to enable informed executive decision-making.
· Align S/4HANA programme goals with manufacturing and supply chain processes to improve operational efficiency and resource utilisation.
· Support alignment with finance and accounting processes to enhance budget control, financial transparency, and performance tracking.
· Drive adoption of standardised project and portfolio management practices to ensure consistency, transparency, and traceability across initiatives.
· Implement robust risk and issue management frameworks to minimise delivery disruptions and protect business value.
· Collaborate with enterprise architects and functional leaders to shape S/4HANA portfolio roadmaps aligned with digital transformation objectives.
· Drive continuous improvement through analysis of delivery metrics and lessons learned to enhance future programme performance.
· Ensure compliance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle.
· Manage stakeholder expectations through clear communication, proactive escalation, and structured governance forums.
· Mentor and develop project management teams to strengthen overall delivery capability.
Required Qualifications:
· 15–20 years of progressive experience in portfolio and project management, including leadership of large-scale enterprise transformation programmes.
· Strong hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle, including demand intake, prioritisation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
· Proven track record delivering complex SAP S/4HANA programmes in multi-project, global environments.
· Solid understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes, including production planning, procurement, and logistics.
· Working knowledge of finance and accounting processes, including budgeting, cost allocation, and profitability analysis.
· Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior business and technology leaders using data-driven insights.
