Job Summary

Oracle DB Administrator


Responsibilities

Must Have Experience

Experience with Linux operating system concepts.

Database-related development and administration experience.

Knowledge of networking concepts

Production support and or significant development experience for Oracle databases.

  • Experience with Oracle Technology: Database Enterprise Manager Real Application Cluster (RAC) Recovery Manager (RMAN) Data Guard ASM .
  • Strong ability to write and understand SQL.

    PL SQL programming experience.

    Experience supporting SAP on Oracle will be added advantage.

    Experience in installing patching upgrading migration cloning of 12c 19c (SAP Non-SAP) Oracle Database .

    Experience Supporting OS patching for oracle hosted servers.

    Experience in supporting Data Guard Switchovers Failovers.

    Experience in Backup Recovery cloning via RMAN.

    Upgrade Oracle databases to 19c from 12c .

    Refresh non-prod environments from prod environment.

  • Patching Oracle : Grid database home .
  • Preferred Experience

    Be part of a team that provides 24x7 production support for 300+ Oracle databases.

    Monitor and support standards compliance.

    Work collaboratively as a consultant with development teams to design and develop effective database objects and efficient application processes. Provide performance analysis for SQL Tuning.

    Automate DBA tasks via Shell Python
