Job summary

We are seeking a Technology Specialist with 6 to 9 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Amazon SNS Amazon SQS MongoDB and Node.js. Experience in OTT Digital Content Delivery is a plus. This hybrid role offers a day shift with no travel required.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable applications using Node.js to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
  • Implement and manage messaging services using Amazon SNS and Amazon SQS to ensure reliable communication between distributed systems.
  • Design and optimize MongoDB databases to support high availability and performance requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features that enhance our digital content delivery platform.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure seamless user experience.
  • Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
  • Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented solutions to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements for new features and enhancements.
  • Ensure security best practices are followed to protect sensitive data and maintain user trust.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the team by actively participating in team meetings and providing constructive feedback.

    • Qualifications

  • Must have strong experience with Amazon SNS and Amazon SQS for messaging services.
  • Must have extensive knowledge of MongoDB for database design and optimization.
  • Must have proficiency in Node.js for developing scalable applications.
  • Nice to have experience in OTT Digital Content Delivery domain.
  • Must have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Must have strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Must have experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Must have the ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
  • Must have a proactive attitude towards learning and implementing new technologies.
  • Must have strong documentation skills for maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Must have a focus on security best practices to ensure data protection.
  • Must have the ability to work in a hybrid work model with minimal supervision.
  • Must have a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that meet business objectives.

    Good to have AWS Certified Solutions Architect MongoDB Certified Developer Node.js Certified Developer
