Role overview

We are seeking a Lead Product Consultant with a good background in Guidewire solutions and Property & Casualty Insurance. The ideal candidate will specialize in the implementation and integration of Guidewire platforms to improve our insurance solutions. This role demands a blend of technical expertise and domain knowledge to drive innovation and deliver exceptional results.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the implementation of Guidewire PolicyCenter and ensure its alignment with business requirements.
  • Design and implement integration strategies for Guidewire Insurance Suite to optimize insurance processes.
  • Develop and customize plugins for Guidewire platforms improving functionality and user experience.
  • Use Guidewire Studio and tools to build efficient solutions for insurance operations.
  • Be responsible for the deployment of GW Batch and GW messaging systems for streamlined data processing.
  • Debug and solve issues within the Guidewire Studio debugger to maintain system integrity.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure flawless integration of Guidewire solutions.
  • Provide expert mentorship on Property & Casualty Insurance translating complex requirements into actionable strategies.
  • Conduct training sessions for team members on Guidewire platforms and insurance domain knowledge.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and security standards within the Guidewire ecosystem

What you bring to the role

  • Demonstrable experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter Insurance Suite Fundamentals and Integration.
  • Expertise in customizing Guidewire predefined plugins and using Guidewire tools & accelerators.
  • Solid grasp of Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
  • Ability to lead projects and collaborate optimally with diverse teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a dedication to delivering high-quality solutions.

Working arrangements

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a Hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto, ON. Canada.
