Role overview: We are seeking a seasoned QA professional with 8 to 12 years of IT software testing experience, specializing in Service Virtualization and API testing. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with CA DevTest, along with a strong background in test case design, execution, and defect management, to effectively create and validate virtualized services.

Experience Required: 8 to 12 years

Primary Skills: CA DevTest, API knowledge, Services knowledge, Stubs and other key concepts in Service Virtualization.

What you bring to the role:

  • Overall, 8 to 12 years of IT experience focused on QA software testing with strong experience in Service Virtualization testing.
  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with CA DevTest or similar Service Virtualization tool.
  • Expertise in API testing and automation – Rest Assured/POSTMAN/SOAP UI.
  • Solid experience in test case design, execution, and defect management.

What you’ll do:

  • Create virtualized services in CA DevTest service virtualization tool.
  • Develop and execute detailed test cases to validate virtualized services.
  • Creating, and configuring virtualized services for monitoring tools and recordings.
  • Assess the effective application of Service Virtualization in various testing scenarios.
  • Conduct comprehensive API testing with Rest Assured, POSTMAN, and SOAP UI.
  • Identify and report defects, working closely with development teams for resolution.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto, ON, or London, ON location.
