Role overview: We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Lead/Manager with 8 to 12 years of automation testing experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Selenium and Python Automation. You will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests, including integration/API tests and end-to-end testing using Selenium and Python-based frameworks.

What you bring to the role:

· Overall, 8 to 12 years of IT experience focused on QA software testing with strong experience in automation testing using Python.

· 6+ years of strong experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks.

· At least 3 years of hands-on test automation expertise applying Python.

· Proficiency in scripting and programming with Python.

· Extensive experience in UI automation testing using Selenium or similar tools.

· Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.

· Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.

  • Experience with implementing test automation design and development in Agile environment.

· Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance is a plus.

What you’ll do:

  • Automate assigned areas/features using the existing Framework and build automation scripts using Python.
  • Maintain automation-related test documentation, test plans, and test cases.
  • Responsible for improving automation for all project deliverables and for following defined processes and tools and alignment with overall QE strategy and framework.
  • Overseeing all aspects of the automation quality assurance process, including test creation, developing and executing automated test plans, verification and validation tests, establishing test metrics, maintaining KPIs, reviewing test effort estimates, release management, and reporting.
  • Monitor and report on testing progress and outcomes.
  • Ensure that all testing activities are completed on time and within budget.
