Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Consultant (T) with 10 to 14 years of experience in PL/SQL Oracle and Data Modelling. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a good understanding of Life and Annuities Insurance. This hybrid role requires excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain complex PL/SQL scripts to support various business requirements.
  • Design and implement Oracle database solutions to optimize performance and ensure data integrity.
  • Create and maintain data models to support business processes and reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for new projects.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members on PL/SQL Oracle and Data Modelling best practices.
  • Ensure that all database solutions are scalable secure and compliant with industry standards.
  • Conduct regular performance tuning and optimization of database systems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for all database-related processes and procedures.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve the quality of deliverables.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the company remains competitive.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the companys database systems and processes.

    • Qualifications

  • Possess a strong technical background with 10 to 14 years of experience in PL/SQL Oracle and Data Modelling.
  • Demonstrate expertise in designing and implementing Oracle database solutions.
  • Exhibit proficiency in creating and maintaining data models to support business processes.
  • Show experience in Life and Annuities Insurance is a plus.
  • Display excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Have strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies.
  • Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues efficiently.
  • Exhibit a commitment to continuous improvement and staying current with best practices.
  • Possess strong documentation skills for maintaining database-related processes and procedures.
  • Show experience in performance tuning and optimization of database systems.
  • Have the ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Display a proactive approach to understanding stakeholder needs and delivering effective solutions.
