Client Relationship Manager (BFS)

Purpose of Role: The CRM role is accountable for growth, relationship strength and overall performance of the assigned accounts(s) in Cognizant’s Banking & Financial Services business unit.

Reporting to Role (Indicative): Client Partner

Capabilities:

  • Client and industry knowledge in UK Banking & Financial Services (Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, Capital Markets)
  • Business acumen and ability to nurture and grow existing relationships
  • Proficient communication skills and results driven.
  • Extensive experience in client facing roles with proven track record for selling organizational capabilities to customers.
  • Experience running responses to RFP’s collaborating across the organization.
  • Concepts of financial, marketing and business strategy.
  • Building relationships and strengthening partnerships by focusing on exceptional client experience, risk management and value realization.

Areas of Responsibility:

· Market Leadership

  • Plans accounts strategy for long-term profitable growth and position Cognizant as a thought partner and business leader within the account.

· Relationship Management

  • Cultivates long-term client relationships and is a trusted advisor to the client.

· Business Development

  • Creates opportunities to position Cognizant credentials, assets and value to the client and qualifies, prioritises and assigns opportunities to deliver the highest percentage of wins.

· Account Operations

  • Delivers long term strategy and goals at the BU/Corporate level; leads and manages the Account Team to ensure attainment of Client’s and Cognizant’s objectives.
