FUNCTIONAL DEVELOPER – Job Description

Cognizant is looking for Software Engineer for Group Finance Reporting System

We strongly believe engineering is a craft. We want to help you develop yourself, get better at what you do, and be proud of the value you bring.

How are we organized?

Group Finance Reporting System (GFRS) chapter is positioned within Statutory & Regulatory Reporting tribe and is primarily focused on delivering change in GFRS application. GFRS is an Oracle based financial data warehouse written in PL/SQL. On top of that, we use technologies such as Drools and Kafka to extract the business logic, and Python for test automation. We work together with Business Analysts to design, develop and deliver suitable IT solutions to ensure that the business requirements of our Risk and Finance stakeholders are met.

As a Dev Engineer you will be part of the Financial Development chapter.

Who are you?

We are looking for a proficient Software Engineer to strengthen the team and bring it to the next level. We're looking for people who want to continuously improve, develop themselves and learn not only technologies, but also the business.
