Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 5 to 7 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Amazon RDS Python AWS Glue Studio AWS Glue ETL AWS Glue Catalog Amazon S3 and Apache Spark. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects that drive our companys success and positively impact society.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using AWS Glue ETL to ensure efficient data processing.
  • Design and implement data storage solutions using Amazon RDS and Amazon S3 to support various business applications.
  • Utilize Python to write clean maintainable and efficient code for data transformation and analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Optimize data workflows and performance by leveraging Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.
  • Manage and maintain AWS Glue Catalog to ensure accurate and up-to-date metadata for data assets.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for AWS Glue Studio to streamline data integration and transformation processes.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of data pipelines to ensure data quality and reliability.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues implementing solutions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data solutions.
  • Document data workflows processes and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and performance.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the team by sharing knowledge and mentoring junior developers.

  • Qualifications

  • Possess strong experience in developing and maintaining data pipelines using AWS Glue ETL.
  • Demonstrate expertise in designing and implementing data storage solutions with Amazon RDS and Amazon S3.
  • Have proficiency in Python for data transformation and analysis.
  • Show experience in optimizing data workflows with Apache Spark.
  • Exhibit knowledge in managing AWS Glue Catalog for metadata management.
  • Display familiarity with AWS Glue Studio for data integration and transformation.
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot data pipeline issues.
  • Possess strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Show commitment to staying current with industry trends and technologies.
  • Demonstrate the ability to document workflows and best practices for knowledge sharing.
  • Have experience in conducting code reviews to ensure code quality.
  • Exhibit a proactive approach to mentoring and knowledge sharing.
  • Be detail-oriented and focused on delivering high-quality solutions.
