Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infra. Technology Specialist with 8 to 10 years of experience in SQL Server DB Administration. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model primarily during the day shift. This role does not require travel. The candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our SQL Server databases ensuring their performance availability and security.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain SQL Server databases to ensure their performance availability and security.
  • Oversee database backup recovery and disaster recovery planning to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Provide support for database performance tuning and optimization to enhance system efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data.
  • Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop and implement database maintenance plans to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design and optimize database schemas and queries.
  • Conduct regular database audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members on SQL Server DB Administration.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to database configurations processes and procedures.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in SQL Server DB Administration.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for critical database issues.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance database management processes.

  • Qualifications

  • Possess strong experience in SQL Server DB Administration including backup recovery and performance tuning.
  • Demonstrate expertise in database security measures and compliance standards.
  • Have a solid understanding of database design and optimization techniques.
  • Show proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving database issues.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Have experience with hybrid work models and the ability to work independently.
