Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Developer with 8 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Spring Boot Microservices and Java as well as domain expertise in Medicare & Medicaid Claims Claims and Payer. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required. The candidate will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our healthcare applications.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Spring Boot Microservices and Java.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design develop and implement new features and enhancements.
  • Ensure the scalability performance and reliability of applications by following best practices and coding standards.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Work closely with product managers and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers providing technical expertise and support to help them grow and succeed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all code and systems to ensure easy maintenance and knowledge transfer.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and validation of software solutions.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the company by delivering high-quality software that meets business needs and improves customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards in all development activities.

  • Qualifications

  • Possess strong technical skills in Spring Boot Microservices and Java.
  • Have extensive experience in the healthcare domain specifically in Medicare & Medicaid Claims Claims and Payer.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Show proficiency in Agile development methodologies.
  • Have a proven track record of mentoring and guiding junior developers.
  • Display a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
  • Have a strong understanding of software development best practices and coding standards.
  • Show the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
