Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 3 to 7 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Jenkins Java TestNG Jira Selenium Maven and PL/SQL. Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance is mandatory while experience in Life and Annuities Insurance is a plus. The role is hybrid with day shifts and no travel required.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of test plans and test cases to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Oversee the automation of test scripts using Selenium and TestNG to improve testing efficiency.
  • Provide expertise in Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous deployment processes.
  • Utilize Java programming skills to develop and maintain automated test scripts.
  • Manage and track defects using Jira ensuring timely resolution and communication with the development team.
  • Implement and maintain build automation using Maven to streamline the build process.
  • Perform database testing using PL/SQL to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide input on testability and quality.
  • Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure software stability and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain test documentation including test plans test cases and test scripts.
  • Provide regular status updates on testing progress and quality metrics to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members in testing methodologies and best practices.

  • Qualifications

  • Possess strong experience in Jenkins Java TestNG Jira Selenium Maven and PL/SQL.
  • Have a solid understanding of Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
  • Experience in Life and Annuities Insurance domain is a plus.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Exhibit strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Show proficiency in test automation and continuous integration tools.
  • Have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
  • Be adaptable to a hybrid work model with day shifts.
  • Display a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with industry trends.
  • Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Show a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  • Demonstrate the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Exhibit a passion for quality and continuous improvement.

  • Certifications Required

    ISTQB Certified Tester Certified Jenkins Engineer
