As a Senior Windows and Cloud Engineer you will make an impact by directly crafting the reliability, scalability, and automation of critical infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in optimizing cloud-based operations, ensuring high availability, and driving automation across deployments. Your hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Terraform, and Ansible, allowing you to expand your cloud expertise while making a tangible impact. You'll work with multi-functional teams, tackle complex challenges, and implement outstanding solutions that improve efficiency and performance. You will be a valued member of our Infrastructure Practice and work collaboratively with our Service Delivery Manager.
In this role, you will
- Manage and maintain Windows-based infrastructure to ensure high availability and efficient performance.
- Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform, streamlining provisioning and management.
- Leverage Ansible for configuration management and automation of repetitive tasks.
- Lead all aspects of application deployments and infrastructure management on Google Cloud.
- Monitor and resolve system performance to maintain operational excellence.
- Coordinate with diverse teams to build and implement scalable, secure infrastructure solutions.
- Provide technical mentorship to team members on infrastructure processes.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations and processes.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical infrastructure.
- Continuously assess and improve existing infrastructure and automation processes.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and new technologies to keep infrastructure modern and efficient
What you’ll need to succeed (required skills)
- A proven track record of 6 or more years in managing Windows-based systems.
- Top-tier experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Proficiency in using Ansible for configuration management.
- Detailed knowledge of GCP services and deployments.

Working arrangements
We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Mississauga, ON. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.
