Lead Visual Designer - Cards & Payments

We are seeking a Lead Visual Designer with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Google Web Designer Figma Adobe XD and Sketch. Experience in the Cards & Payments domain is a plus. This hybrid role requires a creative individual who can work collaboratively to deliver visually compelling designs that align with our companys goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design process from concept to completion ensuring high-quality visual output.
  • Oversee the creation of visually appealing and user-friendly designs using Google Web Designer Figma Adobe XD and Sketch.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver designs that meet business objectives.
  • Provide creative direction and feedback to junior designers to maintain design consistency and quality.
  • Develop and maintain design guidelines and best practices to ensure a cohesive visual identity across all platforms.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and improve design solutions.
  • Create wireframes prototypes and mockups to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts.
  • Stay updated with the latest design trends tools and technologies to continuously enhance design quality.
  • Ensure designs are optimized for various devices and platforms providing a seamless user experience.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of design elements.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders incorporating feedback to refine and improve designs.
  • Contribute to the overall design strategy aligning with the companys vision and goals.

Qualifications

  • Possess strong technical skills in Google Web Designer Figma Adobe XD and Sketch.
  • Have a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Show experience in the Cards & Payments domain is a plus.
  • Exhibit the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Display a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.
  • Hold a degree in Graphic Design Visual Arts or a related field.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until May 18, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $112,000 - $132,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
