Job Requirements:
Architect, design and implement Infotainment embedded software solutions utilizing Android operating systems (OS) and platform components. Develop Infotainment systems on Android Automotive platform. Drive analysis and root cause Android framework issues and provide resolution for infotainment products. Analyze Android open-source code (AOSP) and modify it as per infotainment feature requirement. Design and Develop automation test cases for Android Integration. Collaborate cross-functionally with various components teams across organizations, technical specialists, domain architects, feature owners, and application teams to design, build and maintain Android platforms and software components. We are looking for strong candidates with experience in analyzing and fixing issues in Internal Android Framework (middleware area) in the open-source Android code. We are looking for someone who understands Android framework internals. For example, candidates with experience in analyzing and fixing issues in system server, Package Manager, or Activity Manager in the open-source Android code including Package Manager, Window Manager, Activity Manager) or any other aosp-frameworks-base / aosp-packages-services part of code.
Additionally, we need someone capable of debugging issues in the low-level parts of Android code, such as determining why an intent is not working, identifying binder leaks or failures, resolving black screen issues, addressing Android not booting, and handling ANR (Application Not Responding) type problems,
Qualifications Required:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
· Experience in Android full-stack design and development with expertise spanning both above (System Partition) and below (Vendor Partition) the Treble boundary..
· Experience in software development on embedded, mobile, or consumer electronic platforms.
· Proficient in leveraging Android framework functions and features for software development tasks.
· Proficient in software development with a focus on QNX or Linux operating system functions and features for automotive or mobile platform.
· Specializes in providing technical guidance to software engineers on architecting, designing, and creating embedded software products, utilizing various services within the Android framework.
