Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Team Lead-R2R with 6 to 9 years of experience in Finance-Record to Report (GL). The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Finance-Record to Report and a good understanding of Finance & Accounting and Record to Report-Accounting. This hybrid role requires excellent leadership and communication skills to drive the team towards achieving organizational goals.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the Record to Report (R2R) team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Oversee the general ledger accounting process ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members on complex accounting issues and transactions.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements and reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline and improve R2R processes.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and review account reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address any financial reporting issues.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the finance department by achieving key performance indicators.

  • Qualifications

  • Possess a strong technical background in Finance-Record to Report (GL).
  • Have a good understanding of Finance & Accounting and Record to Report-Accounting.
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Show proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Have experience in process improvement and implementation.
  • Display a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
  • Have a proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • Show commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Be able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Possess a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.

  • Certifications Required

    Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
