Cyber Security Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a Cyber Security Analyst with 2 to 6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Palo Alto IPS and will work in a hybrid model with day shifts. This role does not require travel. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of our systems and data contributing to the overall safety and integrity of our operations.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Implement and manage Palo Alto IPS to protect against intrusions and attacks.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Respond to security incidents and provide detailed analysis and reports on findings.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to develop and implement security policies and procedures.
  • Provide recommendations for improving security posture and reducing risk.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends technologies and threats.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on security best practices.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Ensure that all security measures are in place and functioning correctly.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address security weaknesses.
  • Provide support for security-related projects and initiatives.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of security incidents policies and procedures.

  • Qualifications

  • Possess strong experience with Palo Alto IPS.
  • Have a solid understanding of network security principles and practices.
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Show proficiency in conducting security assessments and audits.
  • Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Have experience with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
  • Stay informed about the latest security trends and technologies.
  • Be able to develop and deliver effective training programs.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Be capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Have a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Show commitment to maintaining the highest standards of security and integrity.

  • Certifications Required

    Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) preferred.
