Sr. Consultant [Counterparty Credit Risk]

Job Description:


Overview:
The Senior Business Analyst is a strategic role responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology
solutions. This individual plays a key role in driving projects that enhance organizational efficiency, compliance, and
profitability, particularly in financial domains involving risk and valuation adjustments.


Responsibilities:
Project Management:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality assurance, and stakeholder
    satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, risk management, and external stakeholders.
  • Track project milestones, budgets, risks, and deliverables

Financial Valuation Adjustments (XVA): [Counter Party Credit Risk]

  • Provide expertise in Credit Valuation Adjustment (CVA), Funding Valuation Adjustment (FVA), and Capital
    Valuation Adjustment (KVA).
  • Work with quantitative teams to assess and analyze XVA impacts on trading portfolios.
  • Collaborate with risk and treasury teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and research to gather business requirements.
  • Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable technical and functional specifications.

Business Requirement Documents (BRDs):

  • Create and maintain comprehensive BRDs, including business objectives, scope, assumptions, dependencies,
    and detailed requirements.
  • Ensure alignment between business goals and IT deliverables through clear documentation.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Act as the primary liaison between business teams, IT, and external vendors.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing updates and resolving conflicts.

Process Optimization and Reporting:

  • Identify inefficiencies in current workflows and recommend improvements.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to monitor project progress, financial metrics, and risk factors.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business analysis and project management in the financial sector.
  • Strong understanding of valuation adjustments (CVA, FVA, KVA, XVA).
  • Proficiency in creating detailed BRDs and functional documentation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks and industry best practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of tools like Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, and data visualization platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field (MBA or certifications like CBAP, CFA
    preferred).
