Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mendix Developer with 10 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Mendix Modeler Mendix Security Mendix REST API Mendix Microflow Mendix Integrations Mendix Extensibility Mendix Entities and Mendix Add-Ons. Experience in Life and Annuities Insurance is a plus. This is a remote role with day shifts and no travel required.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of Mendix applications to meet business requirements.
- Oversee the implementation of Mendix Security to ensure data protection and compliance.
- Provide expertise in Mendix REST API to facilitate seamless integrations with external systems.
- Develop and optimize Mendix Microflows to enhance application performance and functionality.
- Manage Mendix Integrations to ensure smooth data exchange between systems.
- Utilize Mendix Extensibility to customize and extend application capabilities.
- Define and manage Mendix Entities to ensure accurate data modeling and storage.
- Implement and maintain Mendix Add-Ons to enhance application features and user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality applications that meet user needs and business objectives.
- Conduct regular code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
- Stay updated with the latest Mendix features and industry trends to continuously improve application development.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Mendix Modeler Mendix Security Mendix REST API Mendix Microflow Mendix Integrations Mendix Extensibility Mendix Entities and Mendix Add-Ons.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in Life and Annuities Insurance is a plus.
- Ability to work in a hybrid work model with day shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality applications.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
Certifications Required
Mendix Advanced Developer Certification
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until March 18th, 2025.
The annual salary for this position is between $82,350 - $131,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
