Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Architect with 10+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Databricks Python and SQL along with domain expertise in Road and Intermodal Transportation and Transportation Management Concepts. This hybrid role requires a candidate who can work effectively in a day shift and does not require travel.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable data architecture solutions using Databricks Python and SQL.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Oversee the implementation of data integration and ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Offer technical mentorship and support to development teams to ensure standard methodologies are adhered to.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned with industry standards and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all data architecture solutions.
  • Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to improve system performance and efficiency.
  • Lead the design and implementation of data security measures to protect sensitive information.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex data issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data architecture solutions.
  • Work with collaborators to find opportunities for data-driven improvements in transportation management.
  • Ensure that all data architecture solutions align with the companys overall business strategy and goals.
  • Deliver training and support to team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Possess strong technical skills in Databricks Python and AWS Glue.
  • Have extensive experience in Road and Intermodal Transportation and Transportation Management Concepts.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Exhibit strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Show proficiency in designing and implementing data integration and ETL processes.
  • Have a solid understanding of data security best practices.
  • Be capable of leading and mentoring development teams.
  • Display a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 4/13/2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $81,000- $156,000 UDS depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
