Associate Director – HR Transition Manager

Lead and manage the people solution in the bid phase of an outsource deal, and lead the TUPE transition and integration of employees in the UK and Ireland region , in the increasing number of customer opportunities. The role will also support global bids and transitions which have a UKI and Europe component.

Key deliverables of the role

  • Due diligence and identification of people implications, risk analysis on costs and liabilities
  • Working closely with the solution teams in defining an effective resourcing model
  • Participating in legal contractual negotiation of HR schedules
  • Client presentations of the people solution at C level, and joint project plan development for a successful TUPE transfer and employment transition
  • Development of appropriate project plans for TUPE transfer including employee representative and trade union communication and consultation, employment terms and conditions development, pensions and payroll transition
  • Leading TUPE consultation and managing people transitions
  • Work closely with UKI compensation and benefits, Talent Management and Academy building virtual teams to deliver solutions as appropriate
  • Onboarding and handover to HR teams
  • Creation and ongoing development of models for business responses
  • Training around TUPE and implications to business deal teams
  • Work with local SMES in global transfers, where TUPE / ARD applies

Experience

  • In depth HR experience working in UK or Ireland in a talent management or similar role
  • Extensive experience of working in a multicultural and multinational work environment
  • Good understanding of UK or Ireland employment law and typical UKI benefits structures
  • Working knowledge of European ARD regulations and works council framework
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Good project management skills, and ability to multitask and deliver to tight deadlines
  • Confident in decision making and assertive
  • A positive attitude and ability to quickly adapt to change
  • Excellent team worker
