We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Architect with 15 to 18 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical expertise in Kafka Angular JS SQL Camunda BPM Spring Boot Java JSON Spring Batch Spring MVC Spring Core Rest API XML Web Services Hibernate SOAP and Maven. The candidate should also have domain experience in Payer.

Location: Remote

Experience: 8 – 10 Years

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $130,000 and $175,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of complex software solutions using Kafka Angular JS SQL and other technologies.
  • Oversee the implementation of Camunda BPM workflows to streamline business processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team on Spring Boot Java and related technologies.
  • Ensure the integration of various systems using JSON XML and Web Services.
  • Develop and maintain REST APIs to support front-end applications.
  • Utilize Spring Batch for batch processing and Spring MVC for web application development.
  • Implement core functionalities using Spring Core and Hibernate for ORM.
  • Ensure the reliability and performance of SOAP-based web services.
  • Manage project dependencies using Maven and ensure consistent build processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.

Qualifications

  • Must have extensive experience with Kafka Angular JS SQL Camunda BPM Spring Boot Java JSON Spring Batch Spring MVC Spring Core Rest API XML Web Services Hibernate SOAP and Maven.
  • Should have domain expertise in Payer.
  • Must possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Should have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have a strong focus on quality and performance.
