Sr. Quality Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 3 to 4 years of experience in Java and Selenium. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and testing with a preference for experience in the Finance & Accounting domain. This hybrid role requires a detail-oriented individual who can contribute to our teams success and ensure the highest quality standards are met.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality.
  • Utilize Java and Selenium to automate test scripts and improve testing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects early in the development cycle.
  • Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure existing functionalities are not impacted by new changes.
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on software quality and performance.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
  • Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software.
  • Implement and maintain test automation frameworks to streamline testing processes.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members on testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and tools to enhance overall software quality.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in quality assurance and testing.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to software quality.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the team by delivering high-quality software that meets customer expectations.

    • Qualifications

  • Possess strong technical skills in Java and Selenium.
  • Have experience in developing and executing automated test scripts.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
  • Show experience in the Finance & Accounting domain is a plus.
  • Exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Display strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
  • Be adaptable and open to learning new technologies and tools.
  • Show the ability to work in a hybrid work model effectively.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues.
  • Have a strong understanding of regression testing and its importance.
  • Exhibit the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Show a commitment to continuous improvement in testing processes and tools.

    • Certifications Required

    ISTQB Certified Tester Certified Selenium Professional
