Location: St Louis MO,USA
Job Description: Required an experienced Business Analyst with a background in the consumer goods industry. Experience in the pet food sector is a plus.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement in the pet food consumer goods sector.
• Develop and maintain dashboards using Power BI to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Track requirements and ensure project milestones are met through effective requirement tracking.
• Plan and manage project efforts, including resource allocation and timeline estimation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and understanding of business objectives.
• Utilize Oracle and SQL Server to extract, analyze, and report on application data along with conducting regression testing.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the pet food consumer goods industry.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server.
• Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard creation and data visualization.
• Experience in requirement tracking and project effort planning.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Visio, Microsoft Office with Copilot, and other reporting tools (SSRS, Power BI).
Salary and Other Compensation:
Along with base compensation, this position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
