App Security Specialist
100% Remote - Spain
We are seeking an App Security Specialist with 6 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Identity Management and Governance. Experience in Drilling and Development is a plus. This hybrid role requires working during the day shift with no travel required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of application security protocols to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data.
- Oversee the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures related to Identity Management and Governance.
- Provide expert guidance on security best practices to development teams during the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security solutions that meet business requirements.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and documentation of incidents.
- Develop and deliver security training programs to educate employees on security awareness and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
- Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address identified risks.
- Support the integration of security tools and technologies into existing systems and processes.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of security products and services.
- Provide technical support and expertise during security-related projects and initiatives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of security processes and practices.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Strong experience in Identity Management and Governance.
- Minimum of 6 years and maximum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- Nice to have experience in the Drilling and Development domain.
- Proficient in conducting security assessments and audits.
- Experience in developing and enforcing security policies and procedures.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies.
- Experience in providing security training and awareness programs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
