About the role/project
Service Platform is one of the Foundational Platforms identified as part of the Digital Transformation. The team consists of two squads working on two products. First product is a managed service to simplify the management and operations of composable micro-services within ecosystem. It is designed for composite platforms and services to aid the development and operation of serverless and containerized services at scale. Second product is a Service Platform solution used by Enterprise Platforms to empower rapid service development. It provides an ALM framework using a set of GitOps best practices over EKS orchestration.
Your responsibilities
- Develops, codes/configures, and tests programs and systems, typically within the parameters of two to three sprints.
- Shares knowledge effectively with the work team.
- Builds productive networks with technical colleagues, participating in technical forums and user groups.
- Demonstrates a strong working understanding of production systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve many problems on assigned systems with minimal support.
To make this happen you need to have:
- 5+ years of software development.
- have been running applications on Kubernetes;
- understands Kubernetes operators;
- experience writing RESTful APIs;
- used swagger to generate REST clients;
- is available for on-call/support duty in 12h/7day schedule.
Nice to haves:
- 3+ years of Golang development;
- experience with writing Kubernetes operators;
- experience with Crossplane;
- experience with AWS, Helm, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions;
- experience with writing tests in Kuttl or Kyverno Chainsaw;
- candidate is able visit the office (Gdańsk) person 2-3 times a week to work close to the team.
