Job Summary

We are seeking a Developer with 4 to 8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Hive Big Data PySpark and Python. Experience in the Payments Networks or Cards & Payments domains is a plus. This is a hybrid role with day shifts and no travel required.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable Big Data solutions using Hive PySpark and Python.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Optimize and enhance existing data pipelines for improved performance and reliability.
  • Implement data processing workflows and ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for data-related projects and initiatives.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and coding standards are followed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing and analytics.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in Big Data and analytics.
  • Participate in the design and architecture of data solutions to meet business needs.
  • Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions on time.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.

    • Qualifications

  • Must have strong experience in Hive Big Data PySpark and Python.
  • Nice to have experience in the Payments Networks or Cards & Payments domains.
  • Must have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Nice to have experience with hybrid work models.
  • Must have a proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Must have a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Nice to have experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Must have the ability to adapt to changing business requirements.
  • Must have a strong understanding of data security and privacy best practices.
  • Nice to have experience with cloud-based data solutions.
