Security & Risk Solution Architect – ServiceNow

As a Security & Risk Solution Architect – ServiceNow you will make an impact by mentorship and thought leadership to both our client and internal resources in platform design, integration design, development standards, platform management methods, technology strategy consulting, and standards and processes. You will be a valued member of the Cognizant team and work collaboratively with implementation project team.

In this role, you will

Show how the ServiceNow application will look, what modules will be in scope, and how they will work well with each other

Perform technical development and configuration at the highest standard of technical quality with assignments, follow up and mentorship to Junior / Mid developers.

Lead Requirements gathering workshops and design discussions for Security & Risk projects, collaborating on both ServiceNow and Security & Risk standard methodologies.

Convey how the ServiceNow digital solution will scale in the future and how it will be supported.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of Delivery Services processes as well as the maturing of the different portfolios, capabilities, expertise, and standard processes in consideration of Customer needs and requirements.

Assist in the prioritizing of new opportunities, design tools and techniques to deliver efficiently.

Appreciate and comprehend what frameworks, platform application, or technical stack can be used to build a solution.

Act as the final partner concern point for technical decision-making within a project.

Ability to define the Risk vs. Value Proposition for third party integrations with ServiceNow

Ability to clearly define for customers how Governance works with respect to the platform and how it works with respect to the project.

What you’ll need to succeed

ServiceNow scripting is required

Proven track record in a Security & Risk domain

Participated in 20+ ServiceNow implementations across various disciplines.

JavaScript is required

Angular JS, Soap, Rest, JSON, Ajax, CSS, SaSS, HTML5, SP Widgets, and XML are all desired.

6+ years working on the ServiceNow platform.

3+ years of architecting solutions in the ServiceNow platform

What will help you stand out

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

IT4IT, ITILv4, TOGAF Preferred

Demonstrable experience in 2 additional product lines outside of Security & Risk

Certified Application Developer

2+ Security & Risk ServiceNow CIS Certifications

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a remote position open to qualified applicants in Ontario and/or Nova Scotia, where our hubs are located.
