Job summary

As a GeoSpatial Analyst at our MNC you will leverage your expertise in geospatial data to support our knowledge management strategy. With 2 to 4 years of experience you will work in a hybrid model during day shifts ensuring seamless service desk operations and contributing to our strategic goals.


Responsibilities

  • Analyze geospatial data to support decision-making processes and enhance service desk operations.
  • Develop and maintain geospatial databases ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate geospatial data into knowledge management strategies.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for geospatial tools and applications.
  • Create detailed maps and visualizations to communicate geospatial information effectively.
  • Conduct spatial analysis to identify trends and patterns that inform business strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies in all geospatial activities.
  • Train and mentor team members on geospatial tools and best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in geospatial technology and methodologies.
  • Contribute to the development of geospatial standards and protocols within the organization.
  • Participate in project planning and execution to ensure timely delivery of geospatial solutions.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through reports and presentations.
  • Support the continuous improvement of geospatial processes and workflows.

    • Qualifications

  • Possess a strong background in geospatial analysis with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in geospatial tools and software such as ArcGIS or QGIS.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Have experience in service desk operations and providing technical support.
  • Show ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
  • Display strong communication skills for effective knowledge sharing.

    • Certifications Required

    Certified GIS Professional (GISP) or equivalent certification.
