Sr. Data Scientist - ML and AI

Role: Data Scientist – ML and AI

Location: Omaha, NE

Roles and responsibilities:

Lead the development and implementation of advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems

Oversee the design and execution of exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover insights and patterns in large datasets

Provide expertise in Azure Open AI Service to enhance AI capabilities within the organization

Apply Airflow for orchestrating complex data workflows and ensuring seamless data processing

Develop and maintain knowledge graphs to improve data connectivity and retrieval

Implement ML Ops practices to streamline the deployment and monitoring of machine learning models

Apply machine learning techniques to build predictive models and improve decision-making processes

Leverage Cloud Auto ML for automated machine learning model development and optimization

Design and develop AI-enabled chatbots using Dialog flow to enhance customer interactions

Apply OpenCV for computer vision tasks and image processing applications

Drive the application of artificial intelligence and natural language processing to solve real-world problems

Conduct deep learning research and development using frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow

Develop and deploy AI solutions for chatbot applications to improve user experience

Apply R Statistical Package and Python for data analysis and model development

Implement search engine optimization strategies to improve data visibility and accessibility

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong background in Statistics and experience with Azure Open AI Service
  • Hands-on experience in EDA Airflow and knowledge graph development
  • Proficient in ML Ops machine learning and Cloud Auto ML
  • Experience with Dialog flow OpenCV and artificial intelligence applications
  • Skilled in natural language processing and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow
  • Experience in developing AI-enabled chatbots and using R Statistical Package and Python

Certifications Required: Certified Data Scientist Azure AI Engineer Associate TensorFlow Developer Certificate.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until May 25, 2025

The annual salary for this position is between $ 81,848 - $ 156,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
