Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Java and Selenium with a preference for those with domain experience in Program Management. This hybrid role requires no travel and operates during day shifts. Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications.
  • Oversee the automation of test scripts using Java and Selenium to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.
  • Provide detailed reports on test results identifying and documenting defects and issues.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements and design test strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure that all software releases meet the highest quality standards before deployment.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of defects and work with developers to resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain and update test automation frameworks to keep up with evolving software requirements.
  • Monitor and track quality metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
  • Mentor and guide junior quality engineers sharing knowledge and expertise.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies and tools.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and quality status.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the quality assurance process and practices.

  • Qualifications

  • Possess strong technical skills in Java and Selenium.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in quality engineering.
  • Demonstrate experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases.
  • Show proficiency in test automation and scripting.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Have experience in conducting root cause analysis and defect resolution.
  • Display strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Preferably have domain experience in Program Management.
  • Be familiar with agile development methodologies.
  • Show a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Have a keen attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Be capable of working in a hybrid work model with no travel requirements.
  • Demonstrate the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
