The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager to join our BFS Capital Markets Consulting to join our team in Tampa/ St. Peters burg. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership in understanding the various data and reporting flows within the US Regulatory Reporting areas for Capital and Liquidity risk reporting to identify and implement solutions in collaboration with Business and Technology teams.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate leadership in thorough understanding of the various data and reporting flows within the Regulatory Reporting areas to assist in implementation of strategic solutions in collaboration with the Business and Technology teams
  • Familiarity with US Regulatory reporting landscape for DFAST/EPS standards – FR Y 9C, FFIEC 041, FRY 14A/Q/M, FR 2052a
  • Work together with multiple stakeholder groups, mainly Technology and Business teams, to design, implement, and monitor both detective and preventive data quality controls
  • Align and execute deliverables according to the principles, policies, frameworks, and procedures established at the firm, business unit, or function levels, following the guidance of the Chief Administrative Officer leading the Business Controls & Risk function
  • Own functional requirements, source-to-target data mapping, quality and control implementations, control design enhancements, and process and technological improvements to enhance the timeliness and accuracy of both existing and new reporting artifacts
  • Track, resolve, and escalate issues for your projects while keeping relevant stakeholders informed
  • Maintain project deliverables, including reporting and tracking status, using Microsoft Office tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and cloud-based tools
  • Create effective presentations for use with business audiences at various levels
  • Lead daily activities to support data mapping, quality resolution, and successful implementation
  • Apply advanced concepts, practices, and procedures related to planning and project management
  • Possess specific subject matter expertise in the area of responsibility and a solid understanding of Large Financial Institution Rating (LFI) and Enhanced Prudential Standards (EPS)
  • Have experience in at least two full-cycle implementations of one of the Capital Adequacy liquidity risk management solutions using internal or commercial solutions such as Moody’s Risk Authority, OFSAA, Axiom, or Adenza
  • Solid understanding of fundamental concepts of financial markets, practices, and procedures

Qualifications

  • Master’s in business administration (MBA). Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance area with significant experience in Regulatory Reporting are also encouraged to apply
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in consulting or Industry roles in Banking and Capital Markets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and cloud-based tools.
