Job Summary
The Principal Architect role is pivotal in driving architectural excellence within our organization. With a focus on Microsoft DCCP the candidate will leverage their extensive experience to design and implement robust solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of investment banking operations and cards & payments contributing to innovative strategies that align with our business objectives. The hybrid work model offers flexibility while ensuring collaboration during day shifts.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable architecture solutions using Microsoft DCCP to meet business requirements and enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure architectural alignment with investment banking operations and cards & payments domains.
- Evaluate existing systems and propose improvements to optimize performance and reliability.
- Develop comprehensive architectural documentation to guide development teams and stakeholders.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance in the adoption of new technologies and methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in all architectural designs.
- Lead efforts in identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with architectural changes.
- Foster innovation by exploring emerging technologies and integrating them into architectural strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system scalability and maintainability.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of architectural components.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to upskill team members on architectural principles.
- Monitor and assess the impact of architectural decisions on overall business performance.
- Support strategic planning by providing insights into technological advancements and their implications. Qualifications
- Possess extensive experience in Microsoft DCCP demonstrating proficiency in designing complex solutions.
- Have a strong background in investment banking operations enabling effective integration of domain-specific requirements.
- Experience in cards & payments is highly desirable contributing to comprehensive architectural strategies.
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about architectural challenges.
- Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Show a commitment to staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model balancing remote and in-office collaboration effectively.
Certifications Required
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 06/30/2025.
The annual salary for this position is between $130,000- 150,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
