Position Summary

Cognizant is looking for a Microsoft SCCM Analyst with strong corporate networking knowledge to join a transformative team undertaking a service management uplift for a financial services client.

The candidate will be an expert in Microsoft SCCM, end user compute and how to map as well as migrate those capabilities to Microsoft Intune. The consultant will participate in:

  • Capability discovery, assessment, planning, and design
  • End user device configuration and testing
  • Change management and communications
  • Documentation and progress reporting

Mandatory Skills

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Microsoft SCCM
  • Microsoft Intune
  • Experience with the setting up and maintaining NDES and SCEP
  • PowerShell
  • Windows 10 to 11 migration skills
  • Microsoft 365
  • Active Directory and Azure EntraID
  • End user compute and corporate device best practices
  • Patching best practices
  • Building packages for end user distribution via Intune
  • Microsoft Defender and Rapid7 knowledge
  • Knowledge of end user compute security appliances
  • Knowledge of end user hybrid working VPN
  • Technical writing skills
  • Technical analysis skills
  • Knowledge of corporate networking and hybrid working environments, especially wireless networks
  • Certificate management, issuing of certificates from authorities and validation of certificates
  • Microsoft security validation and identity technologies

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Discovery and analysis of existing SCCM and Intune capabilities
  • Proposing and designing similar services in Microsoft Intune
  • Configuration of end user devices laptops and mobiles for different operating systems
  • Configuration of device policies and knowledge of how to apply them across hybrid office / remote workforces
  • Testing of images and software applications on end user devices across hybrid office / remote workforces
  • Packaging software for end user delivery and testing of such

Qualifications & Certifications (Optional)

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, AZ-104 or
  • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals: AZ-900 preferred

Salary Range: $75,000-85,000
