Job Summary

The Sr Product Specialist in ISG will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the Markit EDM platform to enhance data management processes. With 8 to 10 years of experience the candidate will ensure seamless integration and functionality of the platform contributing to the companys data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency. This role requires working from the office during day shifts with no travel obligations.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the Markit EDM platform to ensure optimal performance and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance in the configuration and customization of the Markit EDM system.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and insights that can drive business strategies.
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Markit EDM platform to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance policies and procedures to protect sensitive information.
  • Monitor system performance and implement enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Train and support end-users to maximize the utilization of the Markit EDM platform.
  • Document processes and procedures to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base for future reference.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions to align technology solutions with business objectives.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data management practices within the organization.
  • Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance data management capabilities.

  • Qualifications

  • Possess strong expertise in Markit EDM with proven experience in system configuration and customization.
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical skills to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Exhibit proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly.
  • Show ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Have experience in developing and executing test plans to ensure system reliability.
  • Display knowledge of data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Present strong communication skills to train and support end-users effectively.
