Job Summary

As a Principal Infra Developer you will play a crucial role in designing implementing and maintaining infrastructure solutions that support our business objectives. With a focus on Splunk Administration and Site Reliability Engineering you will ensure the stability and efficiency of our systems. Your expertise in Cards & Payments will be an added advantage in enhancing our services. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of day shifts without the need for travel.


Responsibilities

Systems Engineer Splunk Admin DevOps Linux admin with Splunk skillset Job Requirements Build Deploy and Manage the Splunk Enterprise to ensure that the legacy physical Virtual systems and container infrastructure for businesscritical services are being rigorously and effectively served for high quality logging services with high availability Support periodic Observability and infrastructure monitoring tool releases and tool upgrades Environment creation Performance tuning of large scale Prometheus systems Serve as Devops SRE for the internal observability systems in Visas various data centers across the globe including in Cloud environment Lead the evaluation selection design deployment and advancement of the portfolio of tools used to provide infrastructure and service monitoring Ensure tools utilized can provide the critical visibility on modern architectures leveraging technologies such as cloud containers etc Maintain upgrade and troubleshoot issues with SPLUNK clusters Monitor and audit configurations and participate in the Change Management process to ensure that unauthorized changes do not occur Manage patching and updates of Splunk hosts andor Splunk application software Design develop recommend and implement Splunk dashboards and alerts in support of the Incident Response team Ensure monitoring team increases use of automation and adopts a DevOpsSRE mentalit - Lead the design and implementation of infrastructure solutions that enhance system performance and reliability. - Oversee the administration of Splunk environments to ensure optimal data analysis and reporting capabilities. - Provide expertise in Site Reliability Engineering to improve system scalability and reduce downtime. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate infrastructure solutions with business processes. - Develop strategies for infrastructure optimization and cost reduction. - Monitor system performance and implement proactive measures to prevent issues. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in infrastructure management. - Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies to improve infrastructure efficiency. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and training sessions to enhance team capabilities. - Analyze infrastructure requirements and develop plans to meet business objectives. - Implement security measures to protect data integrity and confidentiality. - Coordinate with stakeholders to align infrastructure projects with company goals. - Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to enhance infrastructure capabilities. Qualifications - - Possess extensive experience in Splunk Admin demonstrating proficiency in managing and optimizing Splunk environments. - Have a strong background in Site Reliability Engineering with a focus on enhancing system reliability and performance. - Experience in the Cards & Payments domain is advantageous providing insights into industry-specific infrastructure needs. - Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model balancing remote and on-site responsibilities. - Strong analytical skills to assess infrastructure needs and develop effective solutions. - Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams. - Proven track record of implementing infrastructure projects that align with business objectives.
