Job summary

The Program Manager will oversee the implementation and management of VDI solutions including VMware VDI and Citrix VAD within a hybrid work model. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive efficiency and innovation in virtual desktop infrastructure projects. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance contributing to the companys technological advancement and societal impact.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of VDI projects ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
  • Oversee the deployment and management of VMware VDI and Citrix VAD solutions optimizing performance and user experience.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate VDI solutions with existing infrastructure enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Monitor project progress and performance metrics identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for VDI solutions ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback ensuring solutions meet user needs and expectations.
  • Implement strategies to enhance security and data protection within VDI environments safeguarding company assets.
  • Facilitate training sessions for end-users and IT staff promoting effective use of VDI technologies.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and trends in VDI recommending enhancements to improve service delivery.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts ensuring cost-effective procurement of VDI solutions and services.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives leveraging data analytics to optimize VDI performance and user satisfaction.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures maintaining a high standard of quality and reliability.

  • Qualifications

  • Possess strong expertise in VMware VDI and Citrix VAD with proven experience in managing complex VDI environments.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Have a solid understanding of network infrastructure and security protocols ensuring robust VDI implementations.
  • Show proficiency in project management methodologies with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Display adaptability to changing technologies and environments staying current with industry advancements.
  • Hold a bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field with relevant certifications.

    VMware Certified Professional (VCP) Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA-V)
