Senior QA Lead – Oracle HCM Cloud (Compensation & Payroll)

Location: Pleasanton, CA

Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent related work experience.

Over 9 years of strong background in testing Oracle HCM Cloud implementation projects, particularly within the U.S. healthcare sector.

Comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience with end-to-end business processes in Oracle HCM Cloud.

Proven expertise in testing and managing the Oracle HCM Cloud Advanced Compensation module, including eligibility, base pay, incentives, individual and workforce compensation plans, total compensation statements, bonus calculations, performance-based planning, and worksheet validations.

Practical experience with Oracle HCM Cloud Absence Management processes.

Familiarity with Oracle HCM Cloud Talent and Performance Management, including succession planning and performance review processes.

Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, including PI Planning, cross-functional collaboration, backlog management, risk mitigation, prioritization, refinement, and estimation of user stories related to Advanced Compensation.

Skilled in using analytical tools such as OTBI and BI Publisher for data analysis and validation in compensation processes.

Experience with the integration of Advanced Compensation with Payroll, Talent Management, Absence Management, and Workforce Management modules.

Proficient in managing both scheduled and custom batch processes within Advanced Compensation.

Ability to provide techno-functional support for automating regression flows as an Advanced Compensation expert.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting compensation strategies to business customer in agile environments.

Involvement in various testing phases including smoke, functional, end-to-end, incident support, enhancements, Oracle release support, and regression testing.

Capable of developing test strategies, creating and reviewing test plans, estimating testing efforts, managing test execution and defect tracking, and summarizing test results.

Experience supporting end users and facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Oracle HCM Cloud Advanced Compensation Implementation certification is a plus.

Roles and Responsibilities

Leading the validation effort for the Oracle HCM Cloud Implementation for Compensation, Absence, Talent, Payroll, Reports and Integration.

Testing RICE objects

Functional testing, System Integration testing & Regression Testing

Business development support (Estimations, RFPS, presentations, capabilities building)

Analyze Functional Specification and Create Test Scenario and Scripts

Execute Test Scripts and Analyze Results

Update customers on the daily status

Foresee and mitigate any risks in the project roadmap

Coordinate the team to get the daily deliverables are met

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 06/24/2025.

The annual salary for this position is between [$81,513 – $130,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
