Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for a Guidewire ClaimCenter Developer to join the team of IT professionals in a role. If you meet our background requirements and skills and are in search of an opportunity with these skills and expertise, here is the opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
- Tailoring the ClaimCenter application to meet the specific needs and requirements of clients.
- Implementing custom configurations and modifications to ensure the system aligns with client workflows and business processes.
- Independently developing software components with minimal direction.
- Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Conducting detailed testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and performance of the software.
- Establishing seamless connections between ClaimCenter and other systems using SOAP and REST web services.
- Implementing batch processing to handle large volumes of data efficiently.
- Offering authority technical support to resolve issues related to configuration, integration, and system performance.
- Diagnosing and addressing technical problems to ensure smooth operation of the ClaimCenter application.
- Gaining a deep understanding of the ClaimCenter data model to optimally handle and manipulate data within the system.
- Effectively engaging in team meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Proficiency in GOSU, Java, and other relevant programming languages.
- In-depth understanding of the ClaimCenter platform, its data model, and its out-of-the-box features, accelerators.
- Solid understanding of database technologies like Oracle. Familiarity with API platforms like Apigee.
- Experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g, AWS, Azure). Ability to deploy and handle ClaimCenter applications in a cloud environment.
- Experience with supervising tools like Dynatrace or New Relic. Ability to supervise and optimize application performance
- Proficiency with GitHub and GitHub Actions for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD). Ability to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Clear interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work optimally in a team environment.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for the position is between $60,325– $109,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
