Job Summary

The Senior DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in optimizing and automating the software development lifecycle within a hybrid work model. With a focus on Tidal Enterprise Scheduler the candidate will ensure efficient scheduling and deployment processes. Experience in Lifesciences is advantageous contributing to impactful solutions in these domains.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline software development and deployment processes using Tidal Enterprise Scheduler
  • Implement automation strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention in scheduling tasks
  • Monitor and maintain the health of scheduling systems ensuring high availability and reliability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to scheduling and deployment minimizing downtime and disruptions
  • Develop and maintain documentation for scheduling processes and automation scripts
  • Optimize resource allocation and scheduling to improve system performance and scalability
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members on scheduling and automation best practices
  • Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to enhance scheduling capabilities
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in scheduling and automation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand scheduling requirements and deliver tailored solutions
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling efficiency and effectiveness
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of high-quality scheduling scripts
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team. Qualifications
  • Possess strong expertise in Tidal Enterprise Scheduler demonstrating proficiency in managing complex scheduling tasks
  • Have a solid understanding of automation principles and experience in implementing automation strategies
  • Exhibit knowledge of Cheminformatics and Bioinformatics applying domain skills to enhance scheduling solutions
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve scheduling issues effectively
  • Show proficiency in scripting languages contributing to the development of automation scripts
  • Display excellent communication skills facilitating collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Maintain a proactive approach to learning and integrating new technologies into scheduling processes.
