Real Estate Strategy & Transactions Senior Manager

About the role

As a Real Estate Strategy & Transactions Senior Manager you will make an impact by supporting the company’s Europe, Middle East & Africa real estate portfolio. You will be a valued member of the real estate team and work collaboratively with the director and senior business stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

  • Assist in the development and execution of operationally sound and cost-effective real estate solutions that meet the needs of Cognizant and support the company's strategic plan and customer requirements
  • Analyze the current portfolio and real estate markets for actionable opportunities
  • Develop processes and communication channels to ensure alignment of real estate strategies and services with the goals and objectives of key stakeholders
  • Consult with Cognizant leadership and business teams on real estate requirements and real estate strategies
  • Assist in leading the management and oversight of the company's dynamic EMEA real estate portfolio of currently ~100 sites in 27 countries encompassing ~1M sq. ft. of leased & serviced office space

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2/3 days a week in a Cognizant office in Bucharest. What you need to have to be considered

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience of real estate strategy and transactions in EMEA
  • Site acquisition experience essential
  • Experience in managing and overseeing complex projects
  • Site build out and/or facilities experience a plus
  • Ability to travel to and from various sites using standard forms of transportation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and MS Project a plus
  • C1 English language proficiency essential & C1/C2 European language a plus
