Power Apps Developer

As a Power Apps Developer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions using Microsoft Power Apps. These solutions aim to streamline business processes, enhance user experiences, and optimize workflows within organizations. You will work within a cross functional team, ensuring that you provide accurate and timely updates on your work progress to the team leads.

You will have firsthand experience leveraging copilot using it to prebuild applications using natural language. You will be familiar with its key features, its integrations capabilities via APIs, deployment, security and privacy controls, customisation options etc.

You will be adept at leveraging innovative approaches to solutions for system design and functionality, be proficient working in Agile project methodologies, be confident to multi-task effectively between projects.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and develop applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven).
  • Integrate apps with data sources like Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and Dynamics 365.
  • Customize components, layouts, and workflows to meet organizational needs.
  • Analyse systems to identify inefficiencies and provide innovative solutions.
  • Ability to take a lean approach to solutioning.
  • Be familiar with the concepts of process mining.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements.
  • Create user-friendly interfaces and automate processes with Power Automate.
  • Evaluate applications for functionality, performance, and security.
  • Provide maintenance, troubleshooting, and updates for existing apps.
  • Conduct training sessions and prepare user guides/documentation.
  • Possess expertise in Power Apps, data management tools, and Azure integration.
  • Demonstrate effective communication and analytical critical thinking skills.
  • Leveraging Copilot Design and integrate AI-powered features into development workflows, enhancing productivity and efficiency.
  • Provide real-time code suggestions, debugging support, and technical guidance to streamline the development process.
  • Facilitate better team collaboration by offering contextual suggestions and ensuring code consistency across projects.
  • Continuously train the AI model on new data, adapting it to specific domains or project needs.
  • Improve the interface and usability of copilot tools, making them intuitive and developer friendly.
  • Assist in resolving complex technical challenges by leveraging AI-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure comprehensive code documentation to facilitate understanding and future modifications.
  • Safeguard the development environment by enforcing security protocols and compliance standards.
  • Gather and analyse developer feedback to refine copilot features and enhance its effectiveness.
  • Track the copilot’s contribution to overall productivity and suggest improvements based on usage patterns.
  • Work as an effective member of co located development team.
  • Leverage agile (SCRUM) to track and report on project process.
  • Ensure that the development lead is kept informed of your progress.
  • Raise tickets with software vendors should the need arise and keep a track of progress to resolution.
