Senior Network Architect

Location: Beachwood, Ohio (Onsite Position)

Requirement

15+ years in these networking & security technologies

10+ years network management & troubleshooting.

8+ years architecting and designing medium to large scale organizations.

Ability to analyze complex network issues and design efficient, scalable solutions

Experience with conducting a full-fledged assessment on network design/ topology, identify gaps and recommendations to improve enterprise-wide network services

10+ years in implementing and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.

5+ Years Cloud networking and security

10+ Years HLD, LLD, and run.

Required Skills:

SD-WAN, Fortinet, Cisco, WAN, LAN, BGP, IPSEC, Datacenter networking Cisco ACI, NX-OS, Spine/leaf , Remote Branch offices, Wireless technologies, Loadbalancer

Network security (DDOS, IDS/IPS, WAF), Firewall, Zscaler

Networking Design & Architecture

Design Assessment and Remediation

Architect is expert on network hardware, software, and protocols, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, VPNs and virtualization technologies and Security.

Experience with designing and implementing network architectures for medium to large-scale organizations

Ability to analyze complex network issues and design efficient, scalable solutions

Experience with cloud networking esp. Microsoft Azure, SAAS platforms

Experience with conducting a full-fledged assessment on network design/ topology, identify gaps and recommendations to improve enterprise-wide network services. Candidate should have experience preparing such detailed assessment reports.

Knowledge of cybersecurity principles to protect network integrity and data privacy

Experience in managing network projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure timely delivery

Experience with disaster recovery and capacity planning in coordination with business and enterprise applications

Has ability to design, maintain HLD/LLD documentation.

Automation using tools and technologies on network design and management process

CCIE certification is an added advantage

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 07/07/2025

The annual salary for this position is between $119,000– $139,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
