Job Summary

The Infra. Technology Specialist role involves managing and optimizing database systems specifically IBM Cloudant DB Sybase DB Administration and IBM DB2 LUW DB Admin. The specialist will work in a hybrid model primarily during day shifts ensuring efficient database operations and contributing to the companys technological advancement.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the administration and maintenance of IBM Cloudant DB to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Manage Sybase DB Administration tasks including installation configuration and troubleshooting to support business operations.
  • Provide expertise in IBM DB2 LUW DB Admin ensuring data integrity and availability across systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement database solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for database configurations processes and procedures to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of database systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Support disaster recovery planning and execution to ensure data protection and business continuity.
  • Train and mentor junior team members sharing knowledge and best practices for database management.
  • Participate in project planning and execution providing technical insights and recommendations for database-related tasks.
  • Analyze and resolve complex database issues leveraging technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in database technologies and incorporate them into the companys infrastructure. Qualifications
  • Possess strong experience in IBM Cloudant DB showcasing ability to manage and optimize database systems effectively.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Sybase DB Administration with a track record of successful database management and troubleshooting.
  • Exhibit expertise in IBM DB2 LUW DB Admin ensuring data integrity and system reliability.
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills capable of analyzing and resolving complex database issues.
  • Show ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams contributing to project success.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of database technologies and industry trends applying them to enhance company infrastructure.
  • Display strong communication skills essential for training and mentoring team members.
  • Ensure adherence to security protocols and industry regulations safeguarding sensitive data.
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently in a hybrid model managing tasks efficiently during day shifts.
